What is the benefit of paying with a UnionPay card?
When you pay an overseas merchant using a UnionPay card, the amount in the foreign currency will be converted into Chinese Yuan directly based on the transaction day's exchange rate provided by PayPal, and deducted from your UnionPay card. You'll be able to know the exchange rate before you pay.
How can I differentiate a UnionPay card from a Visa, MasterCard or American Express card?
The UnionPay card type supported by PayPal includes both credit and debit cards. If your UnionPay card has both a UnionPay logo and a Visa/Mastercard/American Express logo, and it also supports both Chinese Yuan and a foreign currency, it'll be recognized as the UnionPay card type.
After I’ve added a UnionPay card, do I need to add funds to my PayPal account before making a payment?
