To manage your account, log in to PayPal and click PayPal Credit. You can also manage your account using the PayPal app on your smart phone or tablet.
We periodically review your PayPal Credit account, and providing your annual income after taxes will help determine if you are eligible for future credit line increases. If we don't have this information, we may not be able to increase your credit line.
You can request a credit line increase by calling the customer service number on your monthly statement. Approval of a transaction that makes you go over your credit limit is not treated as an increase to your credit limit. However, Synchrony Bank, the issuer of the PayPal Credit account, may, from time to time, increase your credit line, including after approval of such a transaction. Keeping your account profile and income information up to date may help you qualify for future credit line increases.

You will not be liable for unauthorized use on your account, but you will be responsible for all use by anyone you allow to use your account. If your account is used without your consent, call us immediately at 1-844-373-4961.
We will charge a “return check fee” or “non-sufficient funds fee", for any returned payment, such as if any check, other instrument, or electronic payment authorization you provide us in payment on your account is not honored, returned unpaid or cannot be processed for any reason. The returned payment fee will not be more than the amount permitted by applicable law. We may represent any returned payment. A returned payment fee may be charged even if your payment is honored on a subsequent representment.
PayPal Credit also has a Paper Statement Fee. We will charge a $1.99 monthly Paper Statement Fee to your account in any billing cycle in which your balance is greater than $2.50 and you are sent a monthly billing statement in paper form, even if you also are provided it in electronic form.
You can avoid the fee if you elect to receive and are sent your statements in electronic form only for each billing cycle. To change your statement preference, go to the "Activity" tab, and choose "Statements". Click “Stop Paper Statements” to stop receiving paper statements.
Payment Security is an optional purchase that can cover your minimum monthly payments or entire PayPal Credit balance up to $10,000 after certain qualifying life events. You may cancel at any time. Whether or not you purchase Payment Security will not affect your credit terms of any existing credit card agreement you have with us. See Payment Security Program Agreement for more details.
There are seven events covered by the optional Payment Security program:
You’re covered for most events right away, as long as they occur after your sign-up date. For a job loss or leave of absence, coverage starts 30 days after you sign up.
Payment Security costs $1.66 per $100 of your last statement balance. For example, if you had a $300 balance, you’d pay $4.98 for that month. The fee will automatically be billed to your PayPal Credit account statement.
Your purchase of this Program is optional. You may cancel at any time. If you cancel within 90 days of your enrollment Effective Date, you will receive a refund of any program fees you may have been charged.
